It's Yours, Take It!
This is just a quick update for those of you in New Orleans. If you'd like to check out a cool show of public art, AND TAKE HOME YOUR FAVORITE PIECE FOR FREE (!), then you should head to Cafe Brazil at noon today for the It's Yours, Take It art show.
I have a couple of pieces in it, as do scores of other New Orleans artists, as well as folks from around the world who have sent in their pieces to contribute to this event. A good majority of the artists are of the street art variety, so there'll be some cool graffiti and stencil art pieces there, but then there's lots of other fun stuff too.
You can see some pics of some of what's there via the It's Yours, Take It flickr pool, and the Nola Rising flickr pool, as they are the hosts of the event.
