I continue to tweak the site and add content - and yes, I promise I will soon get some pics of my apparel up on the "clothes" page! I've had a lot going on, but now will be in full-on production mode for the next few weeks, preparing for the holiday season.
And... note the banner on the left for the New Orleans Craft Mafia's Handmade Holiday Gift-away newsletter contest. All you have to do is sign up for the NOCM monthly newsletter and you'll be automatically entered into the drawing for one of two fabulous prize packages, containing items from NOCM members. (Don't worry, if you've already subscribed to the newsletter, you're also eligible for our special "Loyalty Prize" package!) The contest runs from November 1st through 30th, and winners will be announced in December, just in time for the holidays! So sign up now!

Friday November 24th - FAT Friday Trolley Hop at the Nekkid Giraffe, 2044 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, KY (times TBA - pray that it's not raining/snowing!)
Saturday December 2nd - Oddities Bazaar (a benefit for Recycle for the Arts) - 1-5pm, 2831 Marais St., New Orleans, LA
Saturday December 16th - Lower Decatur Holiday Craft Bazaar - 10am - 6pm, 1100-1300 Decatur Street, New Orleans, LA
Thursday December 21st - New Orleans Craft Mafia's re-Launch Party/"Last Stop Shop" Holiday Craft Market - 6-10pm at The Big Top, 1638 Clio Street, New Orleans, LA. Stay tuned for more info!!
And don't forget, I'll be at Festivus Sunday December 3rd, 10th, and 17th!

Welcome to my new website! I am finally live on my very own domain, with a fully functional shopping cart (paypal only for now), a blog (eventually!), and lotsa other good stuff. So click around and take a look, and let me know if you see something that's not working or looks funny... we're still tweaking and working out the kinks. Big thanks to Rachelle at greenkangaroo.com for helping me code this sucker!
For the rest of the month of October, I'll be stocking up on inventory for the upcoming busy holiday season, and getting ready to send a box of my wares up to Craftland in Providence, RI, for which I just received notification of acceptance.
In November (the 18th-19th, to be exact), I'll be participating in Good Folk Fest at the Mellwood Arts Center here in Louisville with some of the members of the Louisville Craft Mafia. I'm very excited and honored to be included amongst the fine folk artists featured there, including New Orleans' own Dr. Bob!
And in December, I'll be in New Orleans for much of the month, participating in Festivus, the holiday market for the rest of us! I love Festivus and have sold my goods there for the past two years; I'm looking forward to it spanning the first three Sundays in December, with the later, more reasonable hours of 12pm - 4pm each day. I'm still confirming several other New Orleans markets in December, so check back often for updates!
